Do you want to draw but struggle to think of "What to draw?" Its not uncommon! & can be a big barrier to us actually putting pen to paper & enjoying the benefits of observational drawing. So, to help you with this barrier here are 34 subject prompts, to help you find subjects around the home. These prompts vary from single word subjects, to themes or open ended suggestions to encourage you to look around, think creatively & build confidence in your artistic choices by interpretting their meaning for yourself.
Suitable for anyone interested in observational drawing, these could be used with children, in a family or for solo sketching.
You don't need access to a printer to use these - as each prompt is numbered. To chose a random prompt each day or time you draw simply chose a number between 1 & 34. Check the PDF & respond to the corresponding prompt!
For those with a printer you can cut these up & choose at random, stick on a fridge or somewhere prominent to cross off as you complete or tuck inside a sketchbook - ready to inspire you :-) Please select 'Grayscale' in your printer options fo the best results.
This product is a digital download. We hope to produce physical drawing prompt cards this year! Subsribe to hear from Jo about new product releases & ideas to support your drawing practice.
