Coming soon _ daily invitations to be Mindful, to offer you encouragement throughout December.
To accompany my Mindful Advent Word Search, this year I invited 2 mindfulness practitioners, Sally Edward & Rachel Howfield Massey, to respond to a selection of the word search words with me. Sally & Rachel are women for whom mindfulness is deeply rooted in both their work & their life. Our daily posts will offer our own interpretation of each word in the word search list.
Sally Edward is a mindfulness instructor who has worked with individuals, groups and businesses since 2011. Sally's first introduction to Mindfulness came through the writing of Tony Wilkinson & Jon Kabat-Zin. She found the practice incredibly powerful and wanted it to be made available to everyone she knew so she trained to teach. Sally says "I have found mindfulness practice to be absolutely essential for me to live a full and authentic life. I have experienced its power to heal and to put me back in touch with my true self and own innate wisdom." I undertook a course with Sally at Kindmind earlier this year, where I benefitted directly from her grounding, inspiring & encouraging approach to Mindfulness practice.

Rachel Howfield Massey is an artist & wellbeing expert with over 20 years of experience of working creatively with people. She works part time as Arts and Wellbeing Coordinator at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, & manages a varied freelance portfolio. Rachel loves walking & finding ways to get a bit closer to the place she is walking – forest immersion training, mindfulness, natural navigation and a healthy imagination are some of the ways she does this. Rachel shares this practice with others through Woodland Retreat days & a beautifully designed set of Other Ways to Walk cards, for using whilst walking. As a retreat participant I loved the calmly liberating atmosphere Rachel cultivated & her insightful yet soulful observations of the natural world.
